Upbringing
I grew up in Cache Valley, Utah. As a young boy attending school, I found it hard to focus. My mind was always filled with ideas: ideas that needed to be on paper. So, drawing came naturally to me especially during my teacher's lessons. Although I missed the majority of her teaching, she took time to notice me. I remember she pulled me aside, admired my work, and called me a great artist. In that moment, and ever since, I believed it. My creative journey began with belief from another.

Hard work &
Craftsmanship
Along my journey, I’ve experienced breakthroughs—moments that shifted my perspective. Art teachers who taught me the dynamics of shadows and proportions helped me see the world in a new light, deepening my understanding and passion for my craft. I'm grateful for the mentors in my life who helped me discover my talent. I'm also grateful for the countless hours spent at the kitchen counter refining my skills. Talent gets you started; relentless practice and mentors make you greater.

Ever-growing
Passion
I create simply because I love it. The stresses of life fade away as my focus shifts to simple things: pencil and paper. And I want others to experience the passion behind my art. I want it to tell a story and evoke the feelings that went into creating it. Artwork has shaped much of my life, and I strongly believe it will continue to do so. I’m excited to see what's behind the next pencil stroke.
